The layout is vertical and exposed, so getting lost up there just increases your chances of running into trouble.

Once you actually unlock the door with the keycard, the payoff is solid. The room tends to have a mix of useful loot—things like grenades, mines, weapons, crafting materials, and sometimes rarer finds like a powered descender or a weapon case sitting on top of the electrical boxes. It's not guaranteed every time, but it's consistent enough that players see it as a worthwhile stop if they already have the keycard on them.

The risk, though, is very real. The cranes create a lot of open sightlines, so you can get spotted from multiple angles without even realizing it. A lot of players treat the area as a PvP hotspot, so it's not unusual to run into someone else going for the same room. Moving quickly and staying close to cover makes a big difference here, especially when you're near the upper walkways.

If you're planning to use the keycard, it's usually smarter to think about your exit before you even open the door. A common approach is to come in through the central building, check for nearby threats, loot fast, and then leave via a different route than the one you climbed up. That way you're not predictable, and you're less likely to get chased right after grabbing loot.
