Paladin: Shield of Retribution Thorns

Overview

The Paladin has been capping out at around pit 138 clears in both SSF and trade leagues. While it is the lowest clearing class, the Shield of Retribution Thorns setup is still highly recommended for its chill, tanky gameplay.

How It Works

Shield of Retribution is a skill upgrade for Blessed Shield that transforms it into a Juggernaut skill. This opens up a lot of damage synergies and allows Blessed Shield to deal thorns damage. Thorns damage acts as an extra multiplier, making this build surprisingly effective.

Playstyle

This can be played as a one-button setup because all other skills are there just to buff you. They are not massively important when farming. The build is chill, tanky, and fun, clearing all content without issues.

Recommendation

Despite being the lowest clearing class, this build is one of my most played in the game. It clears all content easily and is a great choice for players who want a relaxed playstyle.

Necromancer: Blood Wave

Overview

The Blood Wave setup using Hematolagnia turns Blood Wave into a core skill, making it spammable. Overpower stacks maximize damage while Blood Wave keeps your stacks maxed out. It is largely the same as last season, just slightly worse after nerfs.

Why It Is Great

For farming, this build is godly. The new Inexorable Reaper aspect on Sever gives you a permanent teleport, making the Necromancer one of the fastest classes in the game after years of being slow.

Recommendation

This is the best pushing setup for Necromancer. It is super fast, easy to get started, and deletes any T12 content with ease. Highly recommended for all players.

Warlock: Mega Lunatic

Overview

The top Warlock build uses Command Fallen to send out lunatics that kamikaze their way to blow up the screen. The main reason this build is bonkers is the Cage of Madness, which has the highest multiplier in the entire game at 400% extra damage.

How It Works

This is a basic skill build, benefiting from basic skill multipliers, Metamorphosis, Sigil of Summons, and other bonuses. The Cage of Madness also allows you to transform into a lunatic for additional movement speed.

Playstyle

While the class itself is gimmicky and clunky, this build is actually fun to play. It is fairly easy to get online, requiring only a few regular uniques. It is fast and has good clear.

Recommendation

If you are looking for a Warlock build, this one will get the job done. It is not the smoothest build, but it is effective and enjoyable.

Spiritborn: Counter Swarm

Overview

The Spiritborn has impressive 148 clears with the Counter Swarm setup. This build uses Counter Attack to deal damage via the Counter Attack of the Swarm, transforming it into a centipede skill that sends out Pestilent Swarms.

How It Works

Pestilent Swarms deal a lot of damage due to multipliers for poisons and pestilent swarms. The Pestilence aspect makes swarms spiral, and Ring of Ryzen Moon makes them circle around you. This wipes out everything around you.

Playstyle

This build is super fast, deals huge damage, and is decently tanky if built correctly. It is fun and highly recommended for everyone to try.

Recommendation

This is the first build on the list that I highly recommend. It is fun, effective, and one of the best builds in the game right now.

Druid: Shred

Overview

Shred has returned as the best Druid build. After years of being weak, it is finally the top build. The two-set talisman bonus grants a lot of damage, stacking up the more spirit you spend. The five-set allows storm skills to double and triple cast with a 500% damage bonus.

How It Works

Shred is transformed into a storm skill, opening up additional synergies. Items like Waxing Gibbous are actually good now, and you hit for trillions.

Recommendation

This build is insanely fun, fast, and smooth to play. All you need are mandatory uniques and some spirit regen. No difficult breakpoints. Highly recommended for everyone to play before Blizzard nerfs it.

Sorcerer: Burning Firewall

Overview

This build invests everything into boosting firewall damage, but you are not really casting it. Instead, you drop Firewall to spawn a Ring of Fire, allowing all your other hits to trigger the firewall damage over time.

How It Works

You want to hit enemies as often as possible to trigger burning, which Blizzard does perfectly. This effectively transforms the build into a Blizzard build with extra steps. Scale damage over time for maximum effectiveness.

Playstyle

This build is clunky to play, relying on standing within your firewalls and applying damage over time. However, there are several speed farming variants that are much smoother.

Recommendation

For non-pushing players, play the alternate versions. The pushing version is a bit awkward but effective for high-level clears.

Barbarian: Charge Setup

Overview

The Barbarian uses the new Battering Ram passive to transform Charge into a fire damage skill. The skill has a long cooldown, but Chains Purged Mail pantaloons make it essentially spammable.

How It Works

The fire variant has many damage over time multipliers you can utilize. Stack all of them, pair with Ramaladni's and fury stacking, and you blow up everything in the game.

Recommendation

This build is fairly difficult to get online due to all the different scalers, extra weapons, and mythics. It is also a bit clunky. For casual players, stick with spin to win, which is faster and more brain-dead.

Rogue: Rain of Arrows

Overview

The best legitimate Rogue build is Rain of Arrows. It uses fantastic scaling of Rain of Arrows along with marksman skills to deal hundreds of trillions of damage.

How It Works

You need a lot of cooldown reduction to lower the cooldown of Rain of Arrows, along with max energy to utilize the beastful boots and preparation for the final cooldown reset.

Recommendation

As long as your PC can handle it, this is a super fun build that deletes everything. It takes a bit of gear to cheap D4 Gold get started, but once online, it is incredibly powerful.

The Bugged Build

Infinite Damage Exploit

There is a completely bugged build dealing infinite damage that has topped the leaderboard all season. The bug is supposedly getting fixed, but the damage has already been done. The top thousand tower runs were all bugged builds.
