Season 5 Week 2 is pushing ARC Raiders away from the usual "drop in, loot, shoot, extract" routine. The current Trials ask you to search lockers, damage ARC with one Deadline, destroy Snitches using Stitchers, deal ARC damage with a Rascal, and open containers in the Swamp on Dam Battlegrounds. You'll get more out of the week if you treat your ARC Raiders Items as part of the plan before you queue, not as an afterthought once the raid has already gone sideways. Each objective has its own rhythm, and forcing them all into one run usually ends with a heavy bag, a confused loadout, and no extracted score.

Build the Raid Around the Trial

The locker and Swamp challenges are mostly about movement. Pick a compact route, check interiors quickly, and avoid crossing open ground for one doubtful container. Spaceport works well for lockers when the buildings have not already been stripped. On Dam Battlegrounds, enter the Swamp from an edge and sweep in one direction. You'll know fairly quickly whether the area is still worth your time. If containers are open and footsteps are nearby, leave. There is no prize for defending an empty route.

The weapon Trials need a little more care. A single Deadline means exactly that: one device, one useful placement. Large machines such as Bastions or Bombardiers give you a better damage window than small ARC, but the escape route matters just as much as the hit. With Stitchers, let the Snitch settle before firing and aim for its vulnerable flaps. If another weapon lands the killing shot, that progress may not count the way you expect. The Rascal is more forgiving, though its slow reload makes cover essential. Light targets such as Pops, Fireballs, Wasps, and Hornets are often better than a huge machine that keeps you exposed.

Extracting Is Part of the Score

Trials unlock at level 15, and each weekly challenge has score marks at 1,000, 2,000, and 3,000 points. Your best result is kept when you extract, so a heroic extra engagement can easily erase an excellent run. Try pairing lockers with Rascal damage, or Swamp containers with Snitches if the route is quiet. Give the Deadline its own raid. Carrying every specialist weapon at once sounds efficient, but it leaves less room for healing, ammunition, and useful loot. Season 5 runs until September 30, 2026, with the Scorta outfit, colour variants, and other rewards tied to your progress. The week feels strongest when it makes you think about timing and target choice, not when it simply drains rare gear.
