I’ll be honest. I used to ignore Treasure Goblins in high-tier content. Chasing them often felt inefficient or risky. That completely changed once I started running Tier 100 Nightmare Dungeons with the Treasure Breach affix. Treasure Breach turns the dungeon into a playground of greed. Instead of one or two goblins, you get twenty to thirty or more. Gilded goblins, collector goblins, and everything in between. What I love most is how this affix rewards patience. Speed-running objectives is no longer optimal. You need to explore every corner. That sense of discovery brings back some of the magic that made early Diablo 4 exploration fun. You never know when a goblin is going to sprint out from behind a wall and try to escape.

Treasure Breach also pairs beautifully with alts. If you’re gearing multiple characters, the sheer volume of materials you get accelerates progression dramatically. I’ve been able to bring new builds online much faster, without feeling like I’m stuck in a resource bottleneck.

Of course, it’s not completely free loot. High-tier enemies still hit hard, and chasing goblins can pull extra packs if you’re careless. You need situational awareness and good movement. But that’s what makes it satisfying. You’re actively playing, reacting, and making decisions instead of mindlessly clearing.

When combined with Mythic Prankster sigils in your rotation, Diablo 4’s endgame suddenly feels rich and varied. One run focuses on mythic jackpots, the next on material explosions. That variety keeps burnout away.
