The Satanic Hunt: Farming Red Items in Hero Siege
Every action RPG has its chase items, but few are as satisfying as the Satanic tier in Hero Siege. These glowing red items represent the absolute pinnacle of power. Unlike standard legendary drops that offer decent stat increases, Satanic items fundamentally alter how you play the game. Finding even one useful Satanic item can double your damage output or solve major survivability issues. This guide explains how to hunt them efficiently.
Hero Siege gates its best loot behind the highest difficulty levels. Satanic items do not drop in Normal or Nightmare. You must reach Hell difficulty at minimum, and even then, drop rates are low. The true farming begins in Inferno, an even harder difficulty unlocked after beating Hell. Inferno enemies have massive health pools and deal devastating damage, but they also carry the best loot tables. Every elite pack and boss killed in Inferno has a small chance to drop a glowing red item.
Not all Satanic items are created equal. Some are universally useful, granting stats like +50 percent to all damage types or reducing all cooldowns by half. Others are build-specific, enhancing a particular skill or elemental type. For example, a Satanic helmet that boosts poison damage is worthless to a fire mage but priceless to a Plague Doctor. Before dedicating hours to farming, decide which Satanic items actually help your class. Consult the in-game Adventure Journal to see possible drops.
Efficiency is everything when farming Satanic items in Hero Siege. Running full clears of every level wastes time. Instead, focus on boss runs. Act bosses have higher drop chances than regular enemies. The most efficient method involves killing the Act 1 boss, restarting the game, and repeating. A fast character can complete this loop in under two minutes. Multiply that by one hundred runs, and your odds of finding a Satanic item become reasonable.
Another excellent farming spot is the Wormhole dungeon. While clearing floors takes longer, each floor contains multiple elite packs. Elites drop Satanic items more frequently than normal enemies due to their increased loot quality. Aim for floors 30 to 50, as lower floors have worse drop rates but higher floors become dangerous. Bring a friend or two to speed up clears and share loot.
Do not ignore the Cube crafting system. Hero Siege allows you to reforge your existing Satanic items. If you find a red item with terrible stats, save it. Combining that item with rare runes and gems gives you a chance to re-roll its affixes. This turns seemingly useless drops into potential upgrades. Some players even find common magical items with perfect base stats and use high-tier runes to upgrade them into custom Satanic-quality gear.
Patience remains the most important tool. You can farm for ten hours without seeing a single red item, then find two in ten minutes. That is the nature of Hero Siege items. Stay consistent, optimize your routes, and eventually your inventory will glow with Satanic power.
